In Coober Pedy
hi Everyone. the outback is amazing Including the flies. Please read comments from recent posts as many people I have met have commented.
Things are very busy with my aim to be in in Alice Springs for 20th. Am ahead of schedule so looking for early finish that day, my birthday. Am averaging 63km per day for last 2 weeks now! And in good shape even if a tad slow!!
I expect to make it and the Alice Springs running and walking club will escort me into town
thanks to Tiffany for hosting and running me out of town, port Augusta last week, April fools day! I wondered if her club mates though it was a wind up!! 505km for those last 8 days, feel like a running machine
Ta to Michael doing great job crewing
Sorry I got little time here on internet, much to report. Please keep an eye on comments here as I may be able to get some texts through to sister Ann to post, having said that many are not delivered, always something. roughly 700km to Alice springs and 11.5 days to run it in. Then 1,500 to Darwin and that means East Timor and ASIA next month!! Yes Asia my 4th continent!! Total to date 28,843km in 670.5 days, gotta run, thanks for stopping by mateys!!
Please see map HERE for A = start location in Australian mainland, B = Current location, C = Alice Springs birthday location, D = Darwin Finish in Australia. Almost halfway there

Great to hear that you’ve made it to Coober Pedy and ahead of schedule. The flys are protein and we’ve got 1000s of them, help yourself!!
No wonder you feel like a running machine…Australia is your treadmill and you’ve just turned it up a notch!! Great work, and you’re still inspiring me to do a good time in my first Marathon in May. Also I wrote to the Alice Springs Running club on your behalf. I don’t know if the email got through or not but I’m glad you’ll have a group up there for your birthday treat on the run into Alice.
How ever you are doing it, keep it up, take care mate
