Thanks everyone. Today I finished at the Derry exit roundabout. Have about 6 or 7km to reach Donegal and the Republic. Ah Yes Donegal who beat Gaelic football world champions Dublin in the semis of the All-Ireland. A few friendly locals gave me a bit of teasing! Good luck to them. Team Mangan including Siobhan and Billy here for the weekend will be supporting Donegal against Kerry. I hope to have a half day to watch the final tomorrow. Either way Siobhan tells me she will be ‘ clocking out ‘ early even if the boss doesn’t like it
It was nice running with local runner Jason Scott, see comment above. He had already ran 13 miles by 9am! when his dad phoned him to say I was staying in their campsite. So Jason came by for breakfast and ran the first 10km with me. To be honest I was feeling a bit down that I hadn’t had any northern runners run with me, so I needed this, thanks Jason and congrats on the new arrival a dad of only a few days!

Well done Tony from Dublin to Derry in a week. Enjoy the All Ireland tomorrow, just a pity the dubs not in it this year. Well done

It was a great experience to get to run with you today Tony. I will be watching your progress with interest until you cross that finish line in Dublin. I enjoyed hearing a few of the tales from your around the world adventure. Keep on running.

What great timing for ratification Tony. Great support from Siobhan and hosts. That was funny about 4 years running from Dubln. Was he blonde!!!! Take care Ann
