Hi Mike, Thanks for the nice words! I am glad you are joining the run! Dont have much time to explain now but need some ' inside info ' on mailing packages to China,
1. Is it reliable/slow
2. Safe?
3 Do you know about General Delivery/Poste Restaurnte?
4 In South America I was able to go to bus stations and send my 20 kg ' heavy bag ' as I called it on to a city further on down my route and so on so as I could then restock shoes clothes etc. The beauty of that ' encomiendas ' as they call it there or baggage sent as cargo was they held it in the terminal for 30 days! I am trying to find out if its possible to send baggage on as cargo in China and most importantly for how long and if so whats the service called there. If foreigners can do this?
So if you are passing a bus terminal I would appreciate this info. Sorry not going to HK but may just have to make a ' visa run ' from Bangkok but will decide later. Thanks again for offer I appreciate it and keep in touch! happy running to you too :) Hope to run with you sometime Tony

Tony,

I am an ultrarunner of 6 years, living in Shenzhen, China. If you are coming to Hong Kong or nearby, I would love the chance to run a day or two with you. Also, if I can help you out in any way if you are near here, that is a standing offer as well. Lynn David Newton of ATY affiliation turned me onto your story and blog, and I will be starting now at the oldest post I can find, and trying to catch up to you. Thanks for giving me something good to do at my computer instead of just playing games! :)

Happy New Year beginning "Down Under" Tony! I know it will be a terrific year. Every time I feel like shirking a long run, I think of you and your daily long run under every type of weather. What an inspiration you are. All the best!! Barb

Tony, You have to realize that mam will always worry about us! It's her nature. Looking forward to the article in The Mail On Sunday. I'm sure I will have to drive you up to shop to buy the paper as I know you wont walk the 100 meters if the distance doesn't count in the run! I was shocked when leaving mams last Friday when you knocked on my car window to ask if I was going over to my house 2 mins walk away and could I give you a lift. I was going to drive off but when i saw your lazy despondent face :( I reluctantly gave you a lift all the way around the corner. Please motivate yourself as you have another 25,000 kms left to run!! Ha! Ha! :)
