Wonderful trip reports. I remember reading about Jesper Olsen's run through Colombia in his world run. I ran with him 3 days when he came through Florida a couple weeks ago. He will finish in Canada.

Thanks Kevin and everyone for your great support! I reached the Ecuador border today Wednesday as planned. Two nice overcast days from Pasto but some rain today. Then I doubled back to Pasto as explained and will return to cross tomorrow. Ecuador will be the 12th country on the run. Total to date = 15,729km for 365 road days = a year of road days from 6 Merrion Square North in Dublin!
The Spot Tracker has not updated properly. I am very annoyed by their poor service. There is not much I can do about this except run.
Will update soon. PS Total Kms for Colombia = 1,328km. Ecuador should take about 4 weeks as it is less than 1,000. Then the big one for me is PERU :) 2,800km about 11 weeks then Bolivia similar to Ecuador less than 1,000km and 4 weeks and then massive Argentina circa 5,500km about 5 months with a bit of Chile, not much crossed thru in Patagonia. My plan is to get to Tierra del Fuego and South America finished around Dublin Marathon time, end Oct. This will be around 26,000km and roughly half way, as I am now figuring on 52,000km.
