I APPRECIATE YOUR GREAT EFFORTS. I WILL CONTACT THEM. REST DAY HERE IN PASTO TODAY MONDAY. MY KIND HOSTS ALEX AND LUBIA OFFERED IT TO ME. I REALLY NEEDED TIME TO SORT MY BAG FOR THE BIG ' CARRY OVER ' TO ECUADOR ON THURSDAY. WILL BE CHANGING SOME GEAR FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND REPLACED MY STITCHED UP SHOES FROM THE TEARS ON THE MOUNTAIN TRAILS WHEN GOING ACROSS COUNTRY TO GET OVER THE TUNNEL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. I GOT A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO! TOMORROW TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY I WILL RUN THE CIRCA 90KM TO THE BORDER, TOUCH IT AND THEN GET THE BUS BACK TO PASTO. I WILL THEN RETURN TO CROSS OVER, FIND A PLACE TO SEND MY BAG ONTO MY ECUADORAN AMERICAN CONTACT RICHARD EVANS. IT IS POSSIBLE DUE TO ALL THIS ACTIVITY I WILL HAVE A SHORT FIRST DAY IN ECUADOR ON THURSDAY. IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING I WILL START RUNNING FROM THE EXACT SAME PLACE I LEFT OFF AT THE BORDER.
