I am having the time of my life. They are difficult passes to run up. Today I ran most of the way up Monarch Pass without Nirvana and the mile times were 15 minute plus! But still a wonderful experience with incredible views :) I got to run without my faithful because a couple I stayed with last night offered to drive her up the pass and leave her at the Monarch mountain Lodge saving me 15 miles :) I got the great idea when I arrived to flash the magic letter and got a complimentary room tonight. It was a nice day,but windy. I will run the other 5 miles to the summit in the morning pushing Nirvana. It has just started snowing on Monarch! Tony It sure is Roy! I am having the time of my life.
